Pocket Harbor is a harbor-building and collecting game. This Privacy Policy explains how Pocket Harbor handles information when you use the game, visit this website, watch an optional advertisement, or contact support.
Who we are and how to contact us
Pocket Harbor is operated by the developer of Pocket Harbor. For privacy questions, account-deletion requests, or support, email pocketharborsupport@gmail.com.
Information we collect and why
We collect or receive only the information needed to operate Pocket Harbor, provide online features, prevent abuse, show advertisements, process requests, and comply with legal obligations.
- Account and sign-in information. The game creates a Firebase account identifier. If you choose Sign in with Apple, we may receive the Apple-provided account identifier and, where Apple provides it, your name and email address or private relay email address.
- Gameplay and profile information. This includes your player name, harbor name, profile choices, game saves, catches, inventories, progress, online activity, and other in-game content needed for cloud saves and multiplayer or community features.
- Purchase-entitlement information. We record the product identifier, transaction or entitlement identifiers, and purchase status necessary to activate and restore non-consumable in-app purchases. Apple processes payments; we do not receive or store your payment-card number.
- Advertising and device information. Google AdMob may process coarse location inferred from IP address, device identifiers, app and ad interactions, advertising data, and diagnostic information for ad delivery, measurement, fraud prevention, and analytics.
- Support communications. If you contact us, we receive the information you include in your message and your email address so we can respond.
Firebase and online game features
We use Google Firebase services for authentication, cloud game state, server-authoritative online features, and security. Firebase allows us to preserve progress across devices, protect the game economy, restore eligible purchases, and investigate fraud or technical problems. Firebase processes data according to the Firebase privacy and security information.
In-app purchases
Pocket Harbor offers non-consumable in-app purchases through Apple’s App Store. Apple handles the transaction and payment information. We use purchase and entitlement information only to provide the item you bought, restore it after reinstalling the game, prevent duplicate grants, and address fraud, refunds, or support requests.
Advertising and your choices
The free version of Pocket Harbor may show banner advertisements and optional rewarded advertisements through Google AdMob. Rewarded advertisements are always optional: you choose whether to watch an ad in exchange for an in-game reward.
Where required by law, we provide a consent message and choices before requesting personalized advertising. You may change applicable privacy choices through the game’s privacy settings when available, your device privacy settings, or Google’s controls. On iOS, if Pocket Harbor requests permission to track activity across apps and websites, you can grant or deny it through Apple’s App Tracking Transparency prompt and change that choice later in iOS Settings.

How we share information
We share information only as needed to operate Pocket Harbor:
- With Firebase, which provides authentication and cloud infrastructure.
- With Google AdMob and its advertising partners to serve, measure, and protect advertising.
- With Apple to process and validate App Store purchases.
- With service providers that help us operate, secure, or support the game, subject to appropriate safeguards.
- When required by law, to protect rights and safety, investigate fraud or abuse, or in connection with a business transfer.
We do not sell personal information for money. Advertising providers may process device and usage information for advertising as described above.
Data retention and deletion
We retain account, game-save, and purchase-entitlement records only for as long as reasonably necessary to operate the game, maintain security, prevent fraud, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Retention may continue for limited periods in backups or where a record is necessary for legal, accounting, or fraud-prevention reasons.
You can permanently delete your Pocket Harbor account and associated cloud-save data inside the app: open the profile menu, choose Settings, select Delete Account, and confirm the deletion prompts. Apple-backed accounts will also be asked to verify with Apple so the associated Sign in with Apple token can be revoked. If you cannot access the app, email pocketharborsupport@gmail.com for assistance. Deleting your cloud account permanently removes game progress and does not reverse a completed App Store purchase.
Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a copy of certain personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You may also have choices about personalized advertising. To make a request, email us at the address above. We may need to verify your request and may decline or limit a request where permitted by law.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information. No online service can guarantee absolute security, so please use the game and your device responsibly.
Children
Pocket Harbor is not directed to children in jurisdictions where personalized advertising or online account features require parental consent. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children in violation of applicable law. If you believe a child has provided personal information in a way that violates applicable law, contact us so we can review and address the request.
International processing
Our service providers may process information in countries other than the country where you live. Those countries may have data-protection laws that differ from your local laws. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for such transfers.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when Pocket Harbor, our service providers, or applicable requirements change. We will post the updated version at this address and update the “Last updated” date.
